Mia began her career in the 1990s as Deputy Editor of TOUCH Magazine, before going on to work with the MOBO Awards and later carving out a successful path in PR and Communications for Notting Hill Carnival — consistently using her voice to reshape narratives and champion underrepresented communities.

But her story didn’t stop there.

Mia became what she calls a "model on a mission," using her platform to challenge the lack of representation for women over 40 in the fashion and beauty industry. Launching her Instagram during the Covid lockdown in 2020, she was soon discovered — at the age of 54 — and began modelling professionally. Since then, her following has grown to over 172,000 loyal fans who admire her authenticity, elegance, and fearless sense of style.

Today, Mia is redefining beauty standards, modelling for major brands including L'Oréal Paris, Armani, Vichy, and Marks & Spencer, to name just a few.
