Can You Bring Your Feminine Energy to Work?

Can You Bring Your Feminine Energy to Work?

I’ve recently been on a journey of reconnecting with my feminine energy. Podcasts, YouTube channels, journaling, and quiet moments of reflection have helped me tap into parts of myself that feel powerful, intuitive, creative - and deeply alive.

But one question has stayed with me through it all:

How do I bring this version of myself into the workplace?

After all, work is where many of us spend the bulk of our energy and presence. And yet, the traits most associated with feminine energy — softness, empathy, emotional intelligence, creativity, intuition — often go under-recognised in spaces that reward speed, structure, and control.

But what if we didn’t have to choose? What if there was a way to bring our full selves to work — and actually lead better because of it?

Welcome to the June Feminine Energy Challenge

I’ve decided that June will be a month of intentionally bringing feminine energy into my workday - and I want to invite you to do the same.

Each week, I’ll explore and embody one aspect of feminine energy at work — and I’d love for you to join me. No pressure, no perfection. Just an experiment in wholeness.

Here’s the weekly breakdown for the June Challenge:

Week 1: Lead with Empathy

Practice listening deeply. Ask open-ended questions. Create moments of human connection in meetings or 1:1s. Let people feel seen.

Science says: Emotionally intelligent leaders drive better business outcomes. According to Harvard Business Review, EQ is a stronger predictor of performance than IQ or technical ability.

Week 2: Trust Your Intuition

Make space to pause and check in with your gut before making decisions — even when the data seems loud. Let your inner voice weigh in.

Intuition is a key part of adaptive leadership - and McKinsey reports that companies that embrace cognitive diversity (which includes non-linear thinking) are more likely to outperform their peers.

Week 3: Choose Collaboration Over Competition

Celebrate others. Ask “How can I support you?” Share credit. Uplift voices around you. Leadership isn’t about being the loudest - it’s about creating space for everyone to shine.

According to the World Economic Forum, collaboration, people management, and emotional intelligence are all top skills of the future — more than ever, workplaces need relational leaders.

Week 4: Embody Creative Flow

Add beauty, storytelling, or innovation to your workflow. Rethink a presentation. Infuse a proposal with fresh language. See creativity as a strategic edge.

Creativity ranked among the top 3 skills in LinkedIn’s Future of Work report. It’s not a “nice-to-have” — it’s a business advantage.

Why This Matters

This challenge isn’t about rejecting structure or ambition. It’s not about softness instead of strength. It’s about integration.

Feminine energy in the workplace is the quiet superpower most of us were never taught to own — but it’s time we changed that.

Because when we lead from a place that’s both emotionally intelligent and strategic, both intuitive and informed, both relational and results-oriented — we don’t just work better. We feel better.
