HUGE congratulations to BossSquad member Dr.Rebekah Smith as one of her films was selected for an Oscar Qualifying film festival and won 9 awards for her clients during the first week of 2021!
BossSquad member Dr. Rebekah Louisa Smith's company The Film Festival Doctor got off (literally) to a winning start to 2021 as she helped her clients win 9 film festival awards for their films during the first week of January and one of her films which she represents; the outstanding South African feature film BARAKAT directed by Amy Jephta, was invited to screen at the Oscar Qualifying Pan African Film Festival which takes place in L.A. later this year.
Fingers crossed that this super talented black female director will be walking the Oscar red carpet next year!
